I travel for work and stay in hilton hotels 2-3 nights per week year round..... and can rely on my hotel room to be clean and comfortable 99.9% of the time... p.s. im super easy to please. This hotel was 'under construction" which is definitely needed... however that does not justify the dirty rooms, yellow stained tubs, yellow stained towels, sheets and pillowcases, the dingy smell, cracked ceilings. The pillows/bed looked as though someone just woke up from a nap and left. I was unsure if the room had even been cleaned prior to my arrival. The individual size shampoo/wash items were near empty. The room was extremely warm at check in 76° which always makes the dingy smell worse. ...Even the elevators were gross.... Exiting the elevator to mattresses lined up down the hall along with the construction mess is not very welcoming or inviting. The front desk was not knowledgeable about diamond reward offers. The rate was average of Hampton hotels... should have come at a huge discount for the lack of quality stay. Will not stay here ever again.

First off I’d like to start by saying the hotel is under renovation so maybe there is hope. We booked this hotel from the Hilton honors app thinking the pictures look good online but upon arrival pulling into parking lot it changed. There were construction trucks everywhere and hotel was getting work done…. Understandable. It was 330 PM went to front desk and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to front counter. Finally came to check me in and did not acknowledge Hilton honors I couldn’t care less but the first question from Hilton was if you were recognized. On way to room wall paper is coming off of walls and wear and tear everywhere. Getting to room the couch was broken head boards were ripped tile floor cracked. Went to front desk today something and no one was there. Then the food in the morning was not anything worth eating. Would Not recommend this hotel currently.

I reserved 4 rooms. My room I bought cleaning supplies it was rough, the tv remote dosnt work, the couch ripped. My parents room the shades wouldn't close and a half can of soda was in the fridge. My sister and aunt are on a floor breathing dry wall dust. We are hear for a wedding and they can't even get dressed in their room. I requested a full refund and was told they can't provide me with that. So I requested my 4 room canceled for tomorrow. This is a very low budget place. I recommend you sleep somewhere else. I used my ozone machine and it still has a funny order. If I could post a 0 I would, the breakfast matched this hotel. I have been a dimond member gor over a decade. I have never seen a Hilton property this bad. We moved to the Hampton Inn Kalamazoo. The price per room was cheaper. The service was outstanding along with the breakfast. I tipped the room cleaner $20.00 as we were leaving. She was on her side cleaning the baseboards with the door open across the hall. I can assure you will never see that at this hotel. Hats off to the team at Hampton Kalamazoo, thanks Melissa, Joe and Amy.

We got a suite on the first floor. We knew they were under construction when we booked, but lumber and loose screws were left on the side walk near the entrance. The front trash can was also overflowing. After we arrived we opened the curtains to a muddy mess cover with trash an a partially exposed PVC pipe randomly shooting water. Luckily I was distracted by the buld up of cobwebs in the corner of the window. The room had a refrigerator, but all the shelves and door pockets were missing. A random LAN cable coming through the ceiling and scotch taped to the door frame. There was a sign on the wall instructing us to run the hot and cold water for two minutes before using the tub. We did and it took 10 minutes for that water to drain even though the drain was open when we started it. When we finally got it filled and turned it on one of the jet nozzles immediately flew off. The fitted sheet would not stay on the stone like matress and there was a build-up on mold and mildew in the shower. We checked in online and had no contact with the staff so I can't offer an opinion on that. All for the low price of $204 on a Sunday night.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs. Where to start? Business traveler with over 15 years of Hilton stays. No indication at booking that the place was under construction. Filthy conditions throughout with plenty of construction debris on my floor. Horrible water pressure, hole in the shower ceiling. Towels, wash cloths and bedding all had a yellowish color - sure they were probably clean but just gave you the bad vibe. Air conditioning in the lobby common area didn't work at all. Breakfast? Yeah right, what a joke. While I'm sure each hotel is indpendently owned and operated, Hilton may want to do a QA check on this one to remind the owners of the standards of a Hilton property.
